Miraculous Medal
In 1830, in Paris, Our Lady appeared to Sister (now Saint) Catherine Laboure and manifested the detailed design of a medal she wished to be made of her image. Mary promised special blessings to all who wore her medal. So many marvels of grace and health, peace and prosperity have been attributed to wearing it that it became known as the Miraculous Medal.
